Farmer Barnes Dairy now hosting Children’s Parties – any day of the week!
Farms are wonderful places to visit and have fun learning where our food comes from so now we are able to welcome back families and friends of the birthday boy/girl on a Farm Birthday Tour suitable for all ages, adults & children over 3yrs for just £10pp. Please note children 3yrs & under are FREE.
Hop aboard our Tractor & Trailer Ride across the fields and see the beautiful open countryside in its full glory then collect the milk to feed our baby calves, using the special feeding troughs, where the children all have a go. Great opportunity to get up close to the calves and have a stroke or cuddle a calf or even let them lick your fingers. Sometimes the children can play in the straw bedding or even climb up the bales. At milking time, we can all easily watch the cows milking through our milking parlour which holds 48 cows at a time from our purpose built viewing gallery! After washing our hands, it’s time to go in our Cow Classroom to play with the farm toys or even have a go at milking ‘Charlotte the Cow’ and it’s where we can have party games, play music and sing happy birthday and eat some birthday cake!
We can also provide (pre ordered) for a small extra cost:
Vine Farm Dairy milkshakes, choose from banana, strawberry or chocolate just £1.30 each (search Vine Farm Dairy on Facebook)
‘Cow Cookies’ Delicious hand iced biscuits (gingerbread decorated like cows) £2.50 each
Ferneley’s Ice Cream vanilla tubs £2.50 each see www.ferneleysicecream.co.uk
Farmyard Party Bags see Instagram page kidskraftsbycharlotte for £2.50 each
So if that all sounds tempting, all you need to do is book your BIRTHDAY PARTY date with Farmer Barnes by text/message or phone 08754 651580
The tractor & trailer ride at Farmer Barnes Dairy was a big hit and our little ones talked about it for weeks. A lovely way to have a guided tour of the farm, super safe and protected from the weather with just the right amount of commentary from Farmer Barnes. The children absolutely loved it – and the grown ups did too!
